CALL TO ORDER

Chairman John Ray called the meeting to order at approximately 5:00 p.m.

INTRODUCTION OF CHARTER COMMISSION MEMBERS

RAY: This is the public hearing of the 1999 Charter Commission. It’s the 14th of July. We’re in Honokaa, Hawaii this evening. The members present are Mr. Higashi, Mr. Martin, Mr. Balog, myself Chairman John Ray, Ms. Irvine and Mr. Yoshiyama.

INTRODUCTORY REMARKS

RAY: No members of the public are before us to testify this evening so I’m going to dispense with my normal introductory background remarks which I’ve given at every other meeting.

ADJOURNMENT

RAY: So if there is no other business to be taken up, no other business to be agendized, can I have a motion to adjourn?

MARTIN: Motion.

YOSHIYAMA:

Second.

RAY: Meeting adjourned.

The discussion ended at approximately 5:15 p.m.
