Summary Submits a copy of a letter to Mayor Stephen Yamashiro expressing concerns over public

smoking at athletic events, for reasons stated. Attached is a copy of Article 4, Section 14-20 of

the Hawaii County Code, relating to smoking in public places, as well as copies of additional

letters to the Mayor, a petition by 27 people, magazine articles and brochures all relating to

smoking.
