Dominic Yagong, Age 47

Born and raised in Honokaa, currently residing in Kalopa with his wife Hilda and children Chelsea, Jeremy, Rylee and Angellee.

Served on the Hawaii County Council from 1996-2002, where he served as Chairman of both Public Works and Parks Committee, and the Environmental Management Committee.

Since returning to the Hawaii County Council, he has been selected to be Chairman of the Finance Committee, and Vice Chair of the Planning Committee, and Public Works Committee

He is currently employed by Food Pantry Ltd as District Manager overseeing businesses on the Big Island as well as Maui. A Big Island sports enthusiast, he is known as the “Voice of the Honoka’a Dragons” broadcasting sporting events for the past 17 years.
