Hawai`i County Unveils Islandwide Kokua Zones
The County Mass Transit Agency will begin offering fare-free bus rides on all
Hele-On Bus
Routes throughout the Island of Hawai`i, beginning October 1, 2005.
Monthly Pass - Passes can be purchased the last week prior to new month. Students, Disabled, and Senior Citizens can save 33 1/3 percent off.
Bus Tickets - $5.00 for a sheet of 10 tickets and this offers riders a 10% discount off regular bus fares.
Transfers - Transfers are issued to riders who must utilize an additional bus to reach their destination. Transfers are issued by driver at no additional cost and are valid for one hour after issued.
Express Pass - Good for 10 one-way fares for the route specified.
Circuit Fare - Good for same day round trip and is good for 10 round trips.
